Uni Medtec Inc is a company Established in 1996 (Old Name: Unique Medical Instruments) as a small scale Industry in Bangalore. The main business activities of the company are design and development of Medical Instruments, distribution of Medical Instruments and Diagnostic Laboratory consumables. Company also provides free lance servicing to some of the popular brands of Biochemistry analyzers and Hematology analyzers in the market. Company has also introduced a unique Annual Maintenance Contract scheme where in Customer has to buy a minimum quantity of diagnostic reagents and the company will offer free service to the instrument and if the consumption of reagents is high the spares are also covered. 1996 - Unique Medical Instruments was established under the leadership of Mr. Sudarsh D Das. He has bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics and Communication. Before starting his own organization he had worked in reputed companies such as Miles India Ltd, Transasiaa Biomedical Ltd and Rashmi Biosystems Pvt. Ltd. Initial Business was free lance servicing of medical Instruments such as Biochemistry Analyzer, Hematology Analyzer, Co-agulation Analyzer, Elisa Reader, ICU Ventilator etc. Free lance servicing of reputed brands through Annual Maintenance Contracts was the major Business. 1997 - Micro line - 25 indigenously designed and developed bench top Biochemistry analyzer was launched. ML - 25 became a very popular brand in Karnataka with more than three hundred installations in Karnataka. 1998 - Distributorship of Hewlett Packard Medical division to distribute the cardiology instruments in South Karnataka. 1999 - Bagged the prestigious WHO order from KHSDP, to supply 2004 - Distributorship of Analytical Automation Pvt. Ltd. 2009 - Distributorship of Micro lab Instruments Ahmedabad, to distribute Diagnostic Laboratory Instruments in South India.
